FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Logistics Plus Re-Certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for a Fourth Straight Year

In anonymous surveys, employees continue to rate Logistics Plus a great workplace.

Great Place to Work 2021-2022ERIE, PA (March 4, 2021) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been re-certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®. It is the fourth consecutive year that the company has been certified. According to the updated results, Logistics Plus ratings in many key categories were as-good-as or better than best-in-class benchmarks set by the top 100 businesses in the United States.

Using validated employee feedback gathered with Great Place to Work’s rigorous, data-driven “For All” methodology, Certification confirms that at least 7 out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience. At Logistics Plus, 93 percent of its employees say it is a great workplace compared to 59 percent of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

“2020 was a difficult year for all workplaces,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “I am very proud of how our team adapted and made the best of a tough situation. Despite the challenges, we kept all our employees employed and productive, we even grew our overall workforce, and we enjoyed near-record sales once again. That’s no small feat given the circumstances and a great testament to the dedication and perseverance of our workplace culture.”

Logistics Plus Re-Certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for a Fourth Straight Year

Logistics Plus Once Again Named a Best Medium-Sized Workplace by Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Logistics Plus Once Again Named a Best Medium-Sized Workplace by Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE

Logistics Plus ranked #74 on the annual list of Top 100 Best Medium Workplaces.

74 Best Medium-Sized WorkplaceERIE, PA (October 16, 2020) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce that, for a second consecutive year, it has been honored by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE as a 2020 Best Medium Workplace.

To determine the FORTUNE Best Small and Medium Workplaces™ 2020, Great Place to Work analyzed confidential survey feedback representing more than 189,000 employees working at small- and medium-sized businesses in the United States. Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Logistics Plus ranked number #74 on the top 100 list for medium-sized workplaces and was the only transportation/logistics company to make the list.

To be considered, companies had to meet the Great Place to Work-Certified standard, which Logistics Plus has done the past three years. To ensure survey results truly represent all employees, Great Place to Work requires that Trust Index© survey results are accurate to a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error or better. It reviews any anomalies in survey responses, news, and financial performance to ensure there aren’t any extraordinary reasons to believe a company’s survey results couldn’t be trusted. Companies with 10 to 99 people were considered for the small list; companies with 100 to 999 employees – such as Logistics Plus – were considered for the medium list.

“Best Workplaces like Logistics Plus have built dynamic, flexible, and transparent workplaces founded on trust,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “This gives companies on this list a powerful opportunity not just to do well for their people, but also to do well for their businesses.”

Jim Berlin Comments on Best Workplace

Jim Berlin Audio Comments

“We get a lot of awards, which is pretty cool actually. But the workplace awards are the ones that mean the most to me. That’s your own employees saying, ‘I like being here,’ and to me, that is the key to success,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “I’ve always been proud of our team, but I’ve never felt better about who we have here now than I do today. It’s unbelievable. I see people here who bust their butts, work really hard, and have great attitudes. I’ve never been more sure of us as a successful company as I am today,”

Logistics Plus Re-Certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for a Fourth Straight Year

Logistics Plus Receives Inc.’s Best Workplaces of 2020 Recognition

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Logistics Plus Receives Inc.’s Best Workplaces of 2020 Recognition

Majority of employees see professional growth and career opportunities.

Inc. Best Workplaces 2020 - Standard LogoERIE, PA (May 6, 2020) – Logistics Plus Inc. (LP), a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce that it has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2020. In anonymous surveys, employee engagement was over 96%, and “challenging” was cited as the top word to describe the company’s work environment. 82% of men and 85% of women in the company see professional and career development opportunities for themselves.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has made this an incredibly challenging year,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “The world has changed and is changing before our eyes, but LP has stayed strong with our employees playing essential roles in helping keep supply chains together, here and around the world. It’s been a true testament to the talent, tenacity, creativity and resourcefulness of our people. I am so proud. Proud of them all.”

Collecting data from more than 2,500 submissions, Inc. singled out 389 finalists for this year’s list. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data. Then we ranked all the employers using a composite score of survey results. The list will be included in the May/June 2020 issue of Inc. magazine and prominently featured on the Inc.com website.

Among all finalists on the list, Logistics Plus also had the distinction of being:

  • 1 of only 45 companies recognized in the large category (250-499 employees)
  • 1 of only 12 companies based in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • 1 of only 10 companies in the transportation and logistics industry
  • The only company based in Erie, Pennsylvania
