EPA’s SmartWay program helps companies advance supply chain sustainability by measuring, benchmarking, and improving freight transportation efficiency.

SmartWay-and-Logistics-PlusERIE, PA (October 4, 2022) – Logistics Plus Inc., a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce that, for a twelfth straight year, it has submitted and received approval for its current data submission to the SmartWay Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the industry.

Since 2004, SmartWay has helped partners avoid emitting 143 million metric tons of CO2, 2.7 million short tons of NOx, and 112,000 short tons of PM, which helps protect the environment and keep Americans healthy. Nearly 4,000 companies and organizations participate in SmartWay. Working with SmartWay, U.S. trucking companies have saved $44.8 billion on fuel costs.

Troy Pagaduan will manage the “LP Hawaii” office, specializing in the movement of project cargo, international freight, warehousing, FF&E, and other supply chain-related projects.

“I have been in the transportation industry for the past 20 years, starting from the ground up, driving trucks, learning about sales, transportation, projects, and more,” said Troy. “I am proud to be part of such a fabulous organization. In the Hawaiian language, ‘Ohana’ means family and taking care of each other, and the people at Logistics Plus share that same trait.”

LP Hawaii represents the 16th state in the United States with a Logistics Plus office or warehouse. Earlier this year, Logistics Plus announced the expansion of new offices in Japan, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The company now has over 1,000 employees working in 33 countries worldwide.

ERIE, PA (August 2, 2022) – Red Letter Hospitality, the ownership team behind The Cork 1794, The Skunk and Goat Tavern, and Molly Brannigan’s, and Logistics Plus, Inc. (LP), a leading worldwide provider of transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions, are proud to present UKRAINE WEEK – a special, weeklong event to celebrate Ukrainian food and culture.

“Summer in Erie has always been a time for residents to come together to celebrate our diverse heritage,” said Billy Lewis, owner of Red Letter Hospitality. “It’s our honor to partner with Logistics Plus to create an event that showcases the cuisine and culture of Ukraine while supporting its people.”

Visit any Red Letter Restaurant from August 8 through August 14 to enjoy special Ukrainian menu features, food, and cocktails. Five percent of all sales will go towards the ongoing Ukrainian relief effort in cooperation with the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. Highlights of the menu include borscht, chicken kiev, stuffed dumplings, and more.

Each restaurant will dedicate a day during the week for its own unique food specials and guests, including local Ukrainian artists, musicians, and more:
