2023 Barber Beast on the Bay Recap

2023 Beast on the BayOn Saturday, September 9th, sixteen (16) Logistics Plus employees participated in and conquered the 2023 Barber Beast on the Bay! The Beast on the Bay is a challenging 10-mile race that features 30 obstacles in the sand, lake, swamp, and trails. 2023 marked the 10th anniversary of the annual event.

As an official event sponsor, everyone at Logistics Plus is proud to help support the Barber National Institute and its work in the Erie community. It is a great event and one that Logistics Plus will continue to support.

The Barber National Institute is “making dreams come true.” We provide children and adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral health challenges and their families the education, support, and resources needed to be self-reliant, independent, and valued community members. Logistics Plus Charlotte Warehouse Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Logistics Plus Charlotte warehouse held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 26, 2023, the one-year anniversary of its official opening last summer. The special day was celebrated with speeches, warehouse tours, conversations, photos, food, and more.

A special thanks to the York County Chamber of Commerce for the ceremony and presentation, The Sign Factory for their execution of the facility signage, Blue Bar & Smokehouse for the delicious food, and most importantly, our customers, partners, friends, and staff for making the event a huge success. The team looks forward to continued growth and success in the Rock Hill, SC/Charlotte, NC region!

Logistics Plus Participates in ITCC & PACC Ukraine Event

In addition to sponsoring the event, Logistics Plus Chief Operating Officer (COO) Yuriy Ostapyak was on the panel as a speaker.

Event Recap

The ongoing war has resulted in great suffering and loss for both sides, and it is our collective responsibility to seek solutions to this ongoing crisis. UKRAINE: From War to Reconstruction was a special luncheon panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers who shared their practical insights and the latest information on the impact of war on the commerce and economy of Ukraine. The panelists also discussed the international community’s role in rebuilding Ukraine, sectoral needs and opportunities, and practical strategies for doing business in Ukraine while minimizing risk and costs. The event was a critical opportunity to clear the air, seek understanding, and chart a path toward economic reinvigoration and rebuilding.

gannon university logoLogistics Plus Chief Operations Officer (COO) Yuriy Ostapyak was the keynote speaker at Gannon University’s annual Business Day. This year’s Business Day was on Friday, March 24th, on Gannon’s main campus in Erie, PA.

As the keynote speaker, Yuriy discussed the background of Logistics Plus, the company’s service offerings, culture, community involvement, and more. Most importantly, Yuriy answered several questions from students regarding the essential qualities, traits, and characteristics the company looks for when hiring.

Logistics Plus was the proud host of the latest Erie Forward Meeting on March 16th. The quarterly Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership (ERCGP) meeting was attended by roughly 40 guests, including some of the most prominent business leaders in the Erie region. Yuriy Ostapyak, Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Logistics Plus, gave a short presentation about Logistics Plus and discussed the company’s growth, community involvement, and outlook for the future.
