Logistics Plus is proud to report that it helped manage the movement of educational materials for Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System, Inc. (ACES) and its Pennsylvania Business Week program at New Castle High School (NCHS) that was held the week of September 18th. We are truly honored to be associated with such a great educational program that teaches young students how to manage finances, execute effective advertising campaigns, and work together as a team to achieve success. The “Top Company” winning team from NCHS is pictured below.
ACES is a nonprofit, non-political educational organization promoting the understanding of free-market economics to students, teachers, and the general public through partnerships between the business and education communities. You can learn more about them at AcesErie.org. ACES is also a member of the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA) and they become connective with Logistics Plus through the MBA Logistics Program. The logistics program for ACES is being managed by Jeremy Chaffee from Logistics Plus. You can click the image below to view a thank you letter to Jeremy from Valerie A. Next up, Logistics Plus will be managing the transportation for ACES’s second 2017-2018 Pennsylvania Business Week program at Greenville High School the week of October 16th.

This is the largest issue of the year published by the Manufacturer & Business Association (MBA), which includes articles on next week’s annual event keynote speaker Lou Holtz and the 2017 Manufacturing Day celebration. Through its partnership with Erie Times-News and GoErie.com, Logistics Plus is being featured in multiple issues of the publisher’s Lake Erie Lifestyles magazine. The first segment appeared in the August 2017 issue and discussed how Logistics Plus attracts and retains young talent within the Erie community. The second segment discusses other ways – both big and small – in which Logistics Plus supports #MyErie. The new article is featured in the September 2017 issue of the magazine (which is inserted monthly into the Erie Times-News newspaper). The Traffic Club of Erie recently presented scholarships totaling $5,200.00 to local students. This represents funds raised from the club’s Annual Anthony Liberatore Scholarship Golf Outing. Two of the scholarship recipients were Kaylene Chaffee, daughter of LP’s Jeremy Chaffee, and Rebecca Varo, daughter of NTL’s Dan Varo. Congratulations to Kaylene and Rebecca; and thank you to the Traffic Club of Erie!
