Recently, Manish Khanduja who works in our New Delhi, India office handled this shipment of a windmill nacelle and hub. The nacelle’s weight is 75 metric tons each and the hub weight is 26 metric tons each. Here’s a picture of a shipment that Ivo Van Mechelen and the LP Belgium office handled going from Belgium to Seattle, Washington with a final destination of Nome, Alaska. They are windmills, but they are black instead of the usual white due to the cold Alaskan temperatures.
