Logistics Plus hires 5 employees

Logistics Plus, which was established in 1996 to manage the freight logistics for GE transpiration, last week announced the addition of five new employees. The company now employs more than 120 people in 12 offices worldwide.

Newly added to the company's staff in Union Station, 1406 Peach St:

Chris Kuehl will be in charge of processes for the company's North American Division. He is an Erie native who has worked in the transportation industry for the past 15 years. He has spent the past seven working in Detroit.

 

Karen Kuehn has joined the corporate accounting staff at Logistics Plus. She has 18 years of experience in the field, including four years she spent as an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick in Roanoke, Va.

 

Natalie Lee, a recent Penn State Behrend graduate with a dual major in international business and business management, will be working in Logistics Plus's Export Service Group.

 

Vineet Garg, chief operating office of Logistics Plus India, has relocated to the Erie area to help with the strategic logistics planning and support of the global growth of the company's key customers.

 

Kelli Ziegler, a native of Erie and a graduate of Thiel College, joined Logistics Plus after working at GE Transportation as an expeditor for the past year. She will continue to work at GE as local cam expeditor maintaining inventory levels of the local cam kits.
